Mount Pleasant man arrested on fugitive charge
SALISBURY — A 26-year-old Mount Pleasant man was arrested after authorities said he was wanted on an outstanding felony charge from Florida.
Jeremy James Nichols, of Dutch Road in Mount Pleasant, was charged with felony fugitive from justice Tuesday about 4 p.m.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said Nichols was wanted for not appearing in court on a grand theft larceny charge in Gainesville, Fla,, in April. He was in jail Thursday without bond.
