Trinity Oaks selling Life magazines
The Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks is selling more than 300 old issues of Life magazine.
Each issue is available for $5 each, and the editions available, though not a complete set, are from the years 1955-1963, when Life was a weekly and from 1980-81, when Life was monthly.
Contact Brenda M. Zimmerman, director of activities and volunteer services at the Lutheran Home, at bzimmerman@lutheranhomesalisbury.net. She can send a list of the dates available for purchase.
Zimmerman will not look for specific articles in the magazines. Payment by cash or check reserves the magazines, which will all be distributed in one day, probably in September.
Proceeds from sale of the magazines will go toward an expensive piece of computer furniture.
