Pruitt – Shore

LAKE NORMAN – Sarah Kathryn Pruitt of China Grove and Brett Alan Shore of Kannapolis were united in marriage June 30, 2012, at The Point Lake and Golf Club. The Rev. Randy Foster officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Lake Club.
The bride was escorted by her father, Kevin Pruitt, and attended by Kathryn Morris of Landis as maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Emily Fuller of Landis, Ashley Goldston of China Grove, Ally Rao of Oakland, N.J., and cousin of the bride Abygael Thompson of Morganton. Junior bridesmaids were cousin of the bride Alexys Thompson of Morganton and cousin of the groom Clare Aiello of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
The miniature bride was cousin of the bride MacKenzie Greenleaf of Scott Depot, W.Va. Flower girls were cousins of the bride Ella Conway of Salisbury and Sydney Page of Kingsport, Tenn.
Ronald Shore stood as his son’s best man. Serving as groomsmen were brothers of the groom Ronald Shore II of Atlanta, Ga., and Caleb Shore of Kannapolis; Zachary Pruitt, brother of the bride; Colby Uptegraft of Hickory and Brant West of Plymouth. Junior groomsmen wre cousin of the groom Andrew Newman of Salisbury and cousin of the bride Daniel Page of Kingsport, Tenn.
Miniature groom was Aiden Hall of Concord. Ring bearer was cousin of the bride Barrett Thompson of Morganton. Ushers were Justin Ervin of Kannapolis, Matt Linton of Kannapolis and Mark Sides of China Grove.
The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Jamie Steele Pruitt of China Grove. She is the granddaughter of Don and Sula Pruitt of China Grove, Cheryl and Mercer Garnett of  Charlottesville, Va., and Sally and the late Mike Steele of Kingsport, Tenn. She is the great-granddaughter of Girlean Isenhour of Charlottesville, Va. Sarah graduated from South Rowan High School in 2009 and is a senior in the Nursing School at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.    
Brett is the son of Ronald and Penni Mecham Shore of Kannapolis. He is the grandson of Shirley Brooks of Kannapolis, Hal and Becky Mecham of The Villages,  Fla., and Baxter and the late Virginia Shore of Kannapolis. A 2005 graduate of  South Rowan High School, Brett graduated from Davidson College in 2009 and is employed at Food Lion Corporate Office. He is also beginning studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Following a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple are making their home in China Grove.
