Lankford ~ Matthews

Mr. Gary Lankford and Ms. Ann Lankford, both of Salisbury, NC, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Ann, to Nathaniel David Matthews of Hickory, NC.
Julie graduated in 1997 from North Hills Christian School as class salutatorian. She received a BS degree in 2002 from UNC-Charlotte where she majored in Health Promotion and Kinesiology and minored in Psychology. Julie is currently employed by Wells Fargo in Charlotte, NC.
She is the granddaughter of James and Jean Lankford of Cooleemee, NC, and the late R.L. (Bob) and Mildred Campbell of Spencer, NC.
Nathaniel is the son of Timothy and Janet Matthews of Hickory, NC.
Nathaniel graduated in 2001 from Fred T. Foard High School in Hickory, NC. He received a BS degree in 2007 from Catawba College where he majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Nathaniel is currently employed by Wells Fargo in Charlotte, NC.
He is the grandson of Harriet and the late David Matthews of Plymouth, Michigan, and A.K. (Ken) and Betty Burriss of Wilmington, NC.
A September 29 wedding is planned at Deerpond Plantation in Charlotte, NC.
