Terry Wayne Jacobs and Denise Merck Jacobs of Rockwell celebrated their 25th anniversary, which was Aug. 15, 2012, at a party held at Rockwell Civic Center Aug. 4 hosted by Terry’s mother and friends.
The Jacobs were married Aug. 15, 1987, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Salisbury by the Rev. Bruce Sheeks.
Terry has been employed at Terminal Trucking in Concord for 22 years and is studying HVAC at RCCC. Denise is a homemaker. They have helped raise a nephew, Zack Hellard of Central, S.C., and have had five special canine kids: PJ, Mr. Jingles, Sugar, Pickles and Spanky.
The Jacobs’ also celebrated with a second honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tenn., and a ceremony to renew their wedding vows .
