You can be entertained and be a good neighbor this weekend by attending a fundraiser for Travis Casper.
A Day for Travis Casper is Saturday, Aug. 18 at the Salisbury Elks Lodge, beginning at noon and continuing until 10 p.m. Casper has been fighting cancer, and proceeds will go to help fund his upcoming bone marrow transplant.
A barbecue chicken dinner is $8 on site or take out.
Entertainment is a $5 donation to see Porch Dog Revival, Wayward Reason, Blazin’ Blues Bob, shag deejay Eddy Harwood, the Remingtones and the Craven Moorehead Band. Music starts at 1:30 p.m.
Register for the five-card poker run at 11 a.m., and leave Tilley’s at noon. Return to the Salisbury Elks at 5 p.m.
