Two incumbents and one newcomer have filed for three open seats on the Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education.
Chairman Dr. Jim Emerson and Linda Freeze are seeking re-election for their spots representing the east and southeast areas, respectively.
Lynn Marsh will run for the southeast area seat held by Freeze.
Filing began Monday and will run through Aug. 17. The filing fee is $5.
