SALISBURY — The Salisbury Police narcotics unit and the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office special investigations unit jointly served a search warrant resulting in an arrest and seizure of drugs.
Investigators went to a Pearl Street apartment where they located Brandon Markeise Jones, 21.
Officers found 600 grams or about 1.3 pounds of marijuana, a set of digital scales and $38 at the home, said Salisbury Police Capt. Shelia Lingle.
The items were seized and Jones was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver a scheduled VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jones remained in the Rowan County Detention Center on Thursday under a $10,000 bond. His first appearance in court is today.
