Ducks Unlimited chapter in Rowan plans waterfowl hunter party

The Rowan County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will hold a Waterfowl Hunter Party on Friday, Aug.t 10 at the Gold Hill Historic Park
The park is at 735 St. Stephens Church Road in Gold Hill.
The event begins at 6:30pm with a barbecue dinner being served. Dozens of boxes of duck decoys and other hunting accessories, including lay-out blinds, field bags and a couple of shotguns will then be raffled off. This is a great opportunity to get prepared and outfitted for the up-coming waterfowl season.
Everyone who wears camouflage to the event will be entered into a free drawing for a shotgun.
Tickets to the event are $25 for adults and $15 for children 17 and younger. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
