Bank forecloses on Miller Davis building

SALISBURY — A bank foreclosed on Miller Davis Development today, and the sale of the historic Washington Building at 118 N. Main St. is set for Aug. 21.
Mike Miller, owner of the Washington Building and Miller Davis Inc., Salisbury’s largest advertising and public relations firm, said he is working with CommunityOne Bank on “various options” so he keep in the building.
Miller Davis Development, which owns the building, defaulted on a $1.2 million loan from CommunityOne Bank.
Miller described the situation as a “bad real estate deal” for his development company but said his advertising firm is financially sound.
