SPENCER — N.C. Rep. Harry Warren invites 77th district constituents to a town hall meeting Friday at the N.C. Transportation Museum.
The meeting will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the roundhouse orientation theater at the museum, located at 411 S. Salisbury Ave. in Spencer.
According to a press release from Warren’s office, the Republican will answer questions and talk about issues being addressed in the short session of the General Assembly.
“This meeting is open to all District 77 constituents, but it especially provides an excellent opportunity for persons new to District 77 to meet Representative Warren,” the press release stated. “Anyone who would like to register to vote may do so at the town hall meeting.”
After last year’s redistricting, based on 2010 U.S. Census data, new precincts have been added to the 77th district. They include East Enochville, West Enochville, all of Sumner (previously just part of Sumner), Bostian Cross Roads, Faith and Granite Quarry.
The district continues to include the Bradshaw precinct and other western Rowan precincts.
This is the latest in a series of monthly meetings held across House District 77. Those who cannot attend the town hall meeting and have questions can contact Warren at 704-603-8898.
