Woman faces charges of felony larceny, possessing drugs, gun

ROCKWELL — A Rockwell woman faces drug and larceny charges.
The Rowan County Sherriff’s Office charged Amy Gainey, 38, of Nazareth Home Road with felony possession of cocaine, felony larceny of a firearm and felony larceny Saturday.
Gainey is accused of stealing two shotguns, a rifle and a pistol from a Morganton woman’s home.
Police believe she also took a silver jewelry set, an XBox 360, a Sony Playstation, games for both game consoles, two laptop compters, a guitar, an amplifier, watch and pocket knife worth a total of more than $3,100 from the residence.
Gainey was being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond Saturday.
