Leaf blower theft leads to charges
SALISBURY — A Salisbury man is behind bars for felony breaking and entering.
Lorenzo Nicholson, 53, of South Main Street, is accused of stealing a leaf blower valued at $135 from a man’s storage unit on Elm Street and selling it to Security Pawn Shop for $25.
Salisbury Police have also charged him with larceny after breaking and entering and obtaining property by false pretense.
Nicholson was being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond Saturday.
