SALISBURY — Deputies are asking for help in the theft of classic cars from April.
A 1969 Ford Mustang was one of five vehicles stolen from a home on Mooresville Road, according to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report. Authorities were notified on April 24.
The report said a neighbor contacted the home owner when he realized the building was open. They told officers they had seen “someone messing around” the building about a month ago.
Along with the Mustang, a black BMW 528e was stolen. Deputies did not have descriptions of the other three vehicles.
The Mustang was described as a white 1969 Boss 429 with black louvered windows, a black rear spoiler, black interior and a roll bar.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at 704-216-8700.
