Ages 4-5:
All classes are 9 a.m.-noon
June Messy Art – June 25-29: Hands-on projects including paint, paper-craft, and clay.
COLORific! – July 9-13: Learn all about color, how to mix it, how to wear it, how to paint with it.
Texture Fish – July 23-27: Study texture of famous artists and create your own fish using paint, collage, etc.
A Color Walk – July 30-Aug 3: Use a variety to media and learn how to add color to your artwork.
August Messy Art – Aug 6-10 (see above)
Ages 6-8:
Morning classes 9 a.m.-noon, afternoon classes 1-4 p.m.
A Closer Look – June 25-29 (morning): Explore sculpture, printmaking, drawing, painting and collage. *
Ordinary to Extraordinary – June 25-29 (afternoon): Use ordinary mediums to create extraordinary sculptures*
The Masterpieces of Faberge – July 9-13 (afternoon): Use gems, jewels, wire and foam to create your own Faberge eggs.
Portrait Projects – July 16-20 (morning): Create an array of portraits (yourself, family, pets) using collage, origami, and silhouettes*
(Easy) Drawing Class – July 16-20 (afternoon): Develop basic drawing skills using line, shape, perspective and more.*
Art Discovery – July 23-27 (afternoon): Use acrylics, watercolors, collage and printmaking in creating your own masterpieces.

2-D to 3-D Recycled – Aug. 6-10 (afternoon): Create a variety of 2-D and 3-D work including plastic bottle scrimshaw, weather vanes and box sculptures

Clay Adventures in Pop Art – June 25-29 (morning): Sculpt your own Pop Art creations from clay after studying famous Pop Art artists. **
Art Adventures in Pop Art – June 25-29 (afternoon): Create Pop Art in a variety of media. **
Introduction to Pottery – July 16-20 (morning): Learn to center clay and create cups and bowls as well as handbuilding. **
The Arts of Asia – July 16-20 (afternoon): Make 2-D and 3-D artwork including fans, scrolls, masks, screens inspired by Asian forms. **
Around the World with Clay – July 23-27 (morning): Study the history of claywork and make pottery using handbuilding techniques from around the world. **
Drawing in 3-D – July 23-27 (afternoon): Using pencil, charcoal and conte crayon, create realistic drawings using basic techniques used by professional artists. **
Sculpt It! – July 30-Aug. 3 (morning): Use coil, pinch, slab and wheel construction to create your own sculptures. ***
Claymation – July 30-Aug. 3 (afternoon): Become a sculptor, director, animator and producer as you animate your creations using digital video equipment. ***
Mixed Media Masterpieces – Aug. 6-10 (morning): Altering everyday materials to create unique artwork. **
Introduction to Pottery – August 6-10 (afternoon): Learn to center clay on wheel as well as handbuilding techniques.**

A “Creature” a Day – July 30-Aug. 3 (afternoon): Discover the magic of creative drawing, illustration, color and pastel painting.
