Price Legion Post Memorial Week Celebration

J.C. Price American Legion Post 107 announces its annual Memorial Week Celebration set for May 25-June 3 on the post grounds.
A major annual event for more than 50 years, the activities honor the memory of all deceased veterans who served our country.
The rides vendor will be The Inners Shows, with rides running from Wednesday, May 30 to Sunday, June 3.
Vendor spots are available for the full 10 days at $125 for a single spot and $200 for double spot. The shelter is $300. Vendors must comply with Health Department rules to obtain a permit. Contact Abe Daniels for vendor information, 704-640-1893.
Schedule for the 10-day event
• Friday, May 25, 9 p.m.: Kickoff dance at post home
• Saturday, May 26, 8 a.m.: Memorial service at National Cemetery, followed by breakfast at VFW 3006
• Sunday, May 27: Sunday night dance with DJ Mr. Clean-Disco Machine
• Monday, May 28, 10 a.m.: Memorial service at Brenner Ave. Cemetery, VA Medical Center; 6 p.m. Gospel Fest
• Tuesday, May 29, 6 p.m.: Gospel Fest
• Wednesday, May 30, 9 p.m.: Dance with DJ Osborne
• Thursday, May 31, 9 p.m.: Dance with DJ K Connor
• Friday, June 1, 9 p.m.: Dance with DJ Neak
• Saturday, June 2, 9 p.m.: Dance with DJ Woody Wood
• Sunday, June 3: Final Memorial Day dance with DJ Danny D-Mouth of the South. Must be 21 with proper ID.
