SALISBURY — Two men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a Pizza Hut delivery man that occurred April 21.
Salisbury Police have charged Alex Quintel Lynch, 18, of Liberty Street, and Gary Devontae Isom, 19, of Crowell Drive in Concord, with felony robbery with a firearm.
Capt. Shelia Lingle said a delivery order was initially placed for a home on Park Avenue, but the address was invalid. When a restaurant employee called back, the caller changed the location to a home on East Liberty Street.
When the delivery man arrived at the home about 10:30 p.m., police said, another vehicle pulled up beside him.
A gunman pointed a rifle at the delivery driver and yelled through the window, demanding cash and the pizza.
About $40 was taken during the incident.
Lynch is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond. Isom’s bond is set at $10,000.
