Car show to benefit Concord ministry

CONCORD — A car show from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday will raise money for Cooperative Christian Ministry.
All makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcome at the event, to be held at AutoBarn Classic Cars, 325 McGill Ave., Concord.
The fee to pre-register is $5. Registration on Saturday will be $10. Plaques will be awarded for Best of Show, Best Engineered and Top 10 picks. Judging will begin at 10 a.m. and awards will be given at 1:30 p.m.
There will be a 50/50 drawing and giveaways with music provided by DJ Clyde Waller and food by Punchy’s Diner.
