A Kannapolis man was injured when his car overturned in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday night .
Kenneth Shane Rogers, 20, was traveling north on Wright Road when he lost control of his car, a convertible Mitsubishi Eclipse, and ran off the road, according to N.C. Highway Patrol Trooper R.T. Coward. The incident occurred at 7:05 p.m. at the intersection of Karriker and Wright roads.
Rogers struck a Windstream telephone box, and his vehicle overturned.
According to Coward, Rogers was not wearing a seat belt, but he was not ejected from the car. He received non-life-threatening injuries.
Coward said numerous factors led to the accident, and none were definitive.
