SALISBURY — Early spring insects seem to come out from everywhere. Many want to try alternative controls for insects, weeds and other pests.
A caller asked about an article from a publication using a homemade concoction to control weeds in her driveway. The article used a blend of household cleaning products as a viable method to control weeds. Unfortunately, many think because they use cleaning and other household products every day, those things must be safe to use as a pest control agent.
