Last week’s local candidate forums will air on Access16 starting today.
The forums, held at Catawba College April 11 and 12, featured candidates for offices ranging from county commissioner to U.S. representative.
Access16 will show the forums Thursday, Saturday and Monday afternoon and evenings. Here’s the schedule for those days:
• 3 p.m.: N.C. House District 76 Candidate Forum featuring Republicans Carl Ford and Eric Troyer.
• 4 p.m.: The U.S. House 8th District Candidate Forum featuring five Republicans.
• 5:45 p.m.: The forum for the six Democrats seeking a seat on the Rowan County Board of Commissioners.
• 7 p.m.: The forum for Republicans running for the county commission.
• Marathon: The forums will air all day on Tuesday, April 24.

The forums are being broadcast on Time Warner Cable — channel 16 in Salisbury and the northern part of the county, channel 22 in the southern part of the county and Kannapolis.
The forums were sponsored by Catawba College, the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce and the Salisbury Post.
