GOP Chairman to speak at Lincoln-Reagan dinner May 1

In the heat of the 2012 election season, Republican National Chairman Reince Priebus has announced that he will join the Rowan County Republican Party on Tuesday night, May 1, as keynote speaker for the annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner.
Priebus succeeded former Chairman Michael Steele in January of 2011 as head of the national Republican Party.
State Republican Chairman Robin Hayes, N.C. GOP Vice-Chairman Wayne King, N.C. Rep. Virginia Foxx, gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory and other state and local Republican leaders will be in attendance.
Republican candidates will be at the dinner as the 2012 May primaries approach.
The dinner will be held at The Event Center at Cornerstone Church, 315 Webb Road. A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. with light snacks. Dinner and the program will begin at 6:30 p.m. Call Chairman Greg Edds at 704-636-8070 or send RSVP to chairman@rowanrepublicans.org for reservations.
