A section of U.S. 29 & 70/ Business I-85 near N.C. 8 in Lexington will be closed temporarily on Saturday, April 14 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. for bridge work, weather permitting.
While the closure is in place, flaggers will direct motorists to take the following detour route around the work zone:
Take the exit for N.C. 8, cross over N.C. 8, then take the entrance ramp for U.S. 29 & 70/ Business I-85 South.
