SALISBURY — Salisbury Police found 23 grams of marijuana in a Salisbury woman’s car Wednesday morning, officers said.
According to arrest reports, officers stopped 31-year-old Sengkham Phengmany near Cook Out on East Innes Street after reports of a drunk driver.
Phengmany, of 319 West D Ave., failed a sobriety test, the report said.
Authorities ran a drug dog around the 2011 Chevy Malibu and the dog alerted on a possible marijuana scent.
Inside a black drawstring bag in the front passenger floorboard, officers found a glass bottle holding .81 ounces of pot, digital scales and “numerous plastic sandwich bags.”
Phengmany was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, felony maintaining a vehicle for storing drugs, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while impaired.
She was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
