Maher is appointed to West Point
Dylan P. Maher, son of Patrick and Michelle Maher of Salisbury, has received an appointment to the class of 2016 at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Maher is scheduled to graduate from Gray Stone Day School in June. He has been a member of the tennis, cross country and swim teams and National Honor Society; served as editor of the literary magazine; and as vice president of student government.
He has also served on the altar at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for eight years and is with Boy Scout Troop 401, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
Maher and other members of the class of 2016 will report to West Point on July 2.
