Older adults are invited to a free day of fun and health-related exhibits at the annual Senior Health and Wellness Day, Wednesday, March 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center.
The event focuses on cardiovascular health, medication management and wellness, and includes screenings for cholesterol, glucose, mammogram, blood pressure, hearing and vision plus skin checks, bone density screenings and more. Plus, event-goers can participate in a canned food drive, blood drive (provided by CBCC) and medication disposal (provided by the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Department).
The Cabarrus Arena and Events Center is located at the corner of Old Airport Road and N.C. Highway 49 in Concord. Admission and parking are free. For more information, call 704-920-3484.
