Alexandra Viktoria Herrstromer of Waxhaw and Robert Wood Moore of China Grove are pleased to announce their engagement.
Alexandra is a graduate of Weddington High School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she majored in public relations. She is employed by Premier Plastic Surgery of Matthews in marketing and administration.
Robert is a graduate of South Rowan High School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in  American Studies. Robert is a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, having served for nine years and deploying six times.
The wedding is Aug. 11 at the Country Club of Salisbury.
