SALISBURY — A Charlotte man was convicted this week in Rowan County as a habitual felon and was sentenced to at least seven years in prison.
Timothy Allen Keziah, 43, 3307 Rillet Court, was also convicted Thursday of two counts of felony larceny.
He was sentenced in Rowan Superior Court to between seven years and slightly more than nine years. Keziah pleaded guilty and was found guilty, court documents said.
In April, authorities said Keziah went to William’s Performance in Mount Ulla on two different days and stole items the business used, including aluminum bars.
He took seven aluminum bars worth $4,000 on one day and was interrupted the next day loading his truck with similar material, a statement said.
Keziah left the scene, but was caught the same day.
He is to pay the business $3,938.55 in restitution.
Keziah has previously been convicted in Lincoln, Gaston and Mecklenburg counties for breaking and entering, larceny and other driving charges.
