Blue Tulip, with Lori Spencer as bandleader will perform Jan. 16 at the Salisbury Civic Center during the Martin Luther King Day celebration at 2 p.m. The band Divided by Four will follow.
Blue Tulip is an all female eclectic blues and jazz band out of Charlotte. The band consists of experienced female musicians performing witty blues and jazz-blues from the 20s through today. The musicians are Austin Sapp on vocals and keyboard, Lori Spencer on guitar / bass / harmony vocals, and Deborah Scott on congas and world percussion.
