David Potts donates blood. The Rowan County Masonic Lodges sponsored their annual Red Cross blood drive Friday at the local lodge hall at Kerr and Fulton streets. Thirty-two people donated blood during the third annual event and were treated to Coke and cookies. The organization is already planning for next year’s blood drive. Meanwhile, the Andrew Jackson Lodge plans to work with Rowan Helping Ministries on Jan. 22 to provide help to the agency’s clients. For more information, email jsteinberg@carolina.rr.com
