SALISBURY — Myrtle Beach Police arrested one of the County’s 15 Most Wanted this week.
According to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Courtney Laresha Stirewalt was arrested by Myrtle Beach Police this week and is awaiting extradition back to Rowan County on charges of felony larceny of a firearm.
The arrest marks the 18th arrest made from the 15 Most Wanted since its creation last December.
Investigators believe Stirewalt fled to Myrtle Beach after charges were filed in 2008 and had been there since.
Stirewalt is one of four arrests from the list in the last several months, deputies said.
Juan Antonio Molina was arrested in Las Vegas, N.V., in late October. Molina was wanted on felony charges of trafficking in cocaine and trafficking heroin.
He is still awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
Molina disappeared from his Old Beatty Ford Road home after deputies nabbed believed accomplice Joel Alejandres Santibanez in August.
The arrest came after deputies raided 285 Cauble Stout Road and found 3 kilograms of cocaine and 1 kilogram of heroin.
Santibanez remains in the detention center under $1 million bond.
Barry Lynn Carroll was also recently arrested in Colorado on outstanding warrants from North Carolina.
Deputies said Carroll was wanted for assault inflicting serious injury with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. Warrants for Carroll were filed in March 2006.
Carroll is serving an active prison sentence in Colorado and will be extradited to Rowan County upon its completion.
In early November, Wilkes County officers arrested Joseph Samuel Settlemeyer on outstanding warrants from 2010.
Settlemeyer was charged with five counts of felony indecent exposure.
Settlemeyer was booked under a $15,000 bond. He was not listed on the jail’s website Wednesday.
Deputies added three new persons to the list:
• Kenneth Russell Anthony, 35, last known location, Landis.
Anthony is listed at 5-foot-8, 170 pounds. He’s wanted for failing to register as a sex offender in July.
• Rennel Jeffrey Parson Jr., 20, last known location, Salisbury.
Parson is listed at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds. He is wanted on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon from September.
• Maurice Boyd Woodward, 49.
Woodward is listed at 6 feet, 215 pounds. He is wanted on 2007 charges for felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, felony selling and delivering cocaine, felony possession of a firearm by a felon.
