Puckett Coombs Engagement

Garry and Diane Puckett of Shelby are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter,  Sarah Diane Puckett of Raleigh, to  Gavin Michael Coombs of Clayton.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Derwood and Mary Puckett of Salisbury and the late Collette Glenn and Gladys Miller of Lenoir. A 2005 graduate of East Rowan High School and a N.C. Teaching Fellow, Sarah graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University in 2009. She is employed by Johnston County Schools at Clayton High School.
The future groom is the son of Michael and Sharon Coombs of Clayton and grandson of Betty and the late Neal Daley of Ledyard, Conn., and Beverly and the late Edwin Coombs of Norwich, Conn. A 2004 graduate of Griswold High School, Gavin graduated from  North Carolina State University in 2009. At NCSU, he was an All ACC Cross Country Runner for 2004 and 2006-2009. He is Executive Director of Exercise, Education and Environment Project, Anderson Painting/Power Washing.
The couple will wed March 31, 2012, at Visio Deo Church in Raleigh.
