Former Salisbury resident dies in crash

A former Salisbury resident died last week in a wreck in Pennsylvania.
Patrick John Weatherby, 31, lost control of his vehicle in a curve and struck a mailbox and a utility pole in Russell, Pa., state police told the Times Observer of Warren, Pa. His car rolled over several times, the newspaper reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Weatherby was a native of Pennsylvania and had returned there after living in Salisbury from 2007 to 2009. While living in Salisbury, he worked at Ben Mynatt Nissan on Jake Alexander Boulevard.
