A collision on the northbound Interstate 85 bridge over the Yadkin River has been cleared.
The crash involved two cars and a dump truck, snarling traffic near the Davidson County line.
Traffic was stopped until the wreckage was cleared about 3 p.m.
At least one person was trapped in a vehicle. Rescuers struggled to get to the scene on the bridge. Two people were taken for treatment by ambulance.
