SALISBURY — Jurors watched another crime scene video in the Robert Douglas Earnhardt first-degree murder trial.
Earnhardt is on trial for the shooting of his stepfather, Billy Tommy Elmore, on Sept. 17, 2009, that occurred at 165 Leisure Lane. Elmore and Earnhardt’s mother, Patty Kesler Earnhardt Elmore, were estranged.
Billy Elmore had been driven to Leisure Lane by his son’s girlfriend, Tiffany Barbee, to get his dog. He was shot and killed. Barbee, who was shot in the wrist/arm area, drove herself to Tamarac Marina on Bringle Ferry Road.
The video, which was recorded by Rowan County Sheriff’s Detective Tracy Misenheimer, was of the crime scene at Tamarac Marina.
Last week jurors watched a surveillance video from Tamarac Marina store as well as a video taken at the Leisure Lane incident by Sheriff’s Detective David Earnhardt.
