SALISBURY — No charges will be filed against a teenager accused of posting explicit photos of his former girlfriend on Facebook, police say.
According to Salisbury Police, the Rowan County District Attorney’s Office will not prosecute the now-19 year old man after the mother of his ex-girlfriend called the authorities on Thursday.
A police report said the posted photos were taken when his girlfriend was 14 and 15 years old.
Detectives aided in removing the social media account after they were contacted.
Police said the teen created a fake Facebook account last Tuesday and posted the photos after he got angry at his ex-girlfriend.
