ROCKWELL — Preparation for the annual Rockwell Festival of Trees is under way at the its museum on East Main Street.
Area civic groups, clubs, school groups, churchs and at least one business will have a representive tree lining the walls. The colorful trees will create a forest setting that seems to center around Mallory Allen’s lighted miniature village set in a town in northern Germany with the Christmas Market.
This will be the fourth different themed miniature village assembled by Allen and is expected to be big draw for the event.
The Festival of Trees will begin Friday and run through Dec. 18. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 6-8 p.m. and Sundays 2-4 p.m.
