SALISBURY — Police said they will meet with the Rowan County District Attorney’s Office soon to see if a fake Facebook account with explicit photos of a teenager’s ex-girlfriend warrant charges.
According to Salisbury Police, a 19-year-old man posted photos of his ex-girlfriend under a fake social media profile on Tuesday after he had gotten angry at her.
The posted photos were several years old, taken when the girl was 14 and 15 years old, the report said. She is now 17.
Authorities said they were contacted by the teenager’s mother on Thursday. Detectives assisted in getting the account removed.
The man has not been charged, police said.
