Fire caused extensive damage to a home at 125 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.
Investigators believe the fire started around the stove in the kitchen, and then spread to the attic.
Four people apparently lived in the home. They are getting help from the American Red Cross.
There were no injuries, but damage to the interior was considerable.
The fire was called in about 3 p.m.
