“They knocked. They talked. They found drugs.
Salisbury Police charged a 26-year-old woman on Tuesday after officers said they found illicit pills in her purse.
Officers were performing a “knock and talk” at 629 W. Kerr St. when they asked some of the residents if they could look around.
Police said they’ve had calls about suspicious activity at the house and were checking on any issues there.
After getting consent, officers said they found 12 dosage units of cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxant, in Georgia Lee Bellamy’s purse, the report said.
Bellamy, of 6615 Stokes Ferry Road, was charged with felony possession of narcotics.
She was given a $1,000 bond and was in jail Wednesday morning.
