The 2011 Rowan County Farm City Day luncheon will be held Friday, Nov. 18, beginning at noon at the Agriculture Center, 2727 Old Concord Road.
Sponsored by the Salisbury Kiwanis Club, producers and business people take time to come together to recognize growers for their efforts and contributions to Rowan County. The program, A Day in the Life of a Rowan Producer, features the daily life of four different Rowan County agricultural producers. This event also recognizes the 2010 Rowan County soybean and wheat yield contest winners as well as the 2011 Rowe McNeely Award winner.
