The Humane Society of Rowan County will host its annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at VFW Post 3006, 1200 Brenner Ave. Patrons may dine in or carry out the meal of spaghetti with meat or meatless sauce, salad, garlic bread, dessert and tea. Tickets will be available at the door at a cost of $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
HSRC T-shirts, magnets and other items including hand -crafted bracelets by Nise’s Pieces will be available for sale with proceeds to benefit the organization’s veterinary care fund. Local DJ Melanie Chilson will provide music throughout the evening as a gift to the HSRC and its supporters.
Corporate sponsors of this year’s event are Waffle House of Salisbury and L&M Kustom Karts.
Those wishing to donate pet food and cat litter to the organization’s pet food bank for distribution to families in need may drop off the items at the ticket table.
