Correction
Year-end campaign finance reports for the 2011 municipal election are due Jan. 27. The reporting period ends Dec. 31. The due date was incorrect in Fridayís Post.
James Schmierer is still naming the town of Spencer as a defendant in his lawsuit over a March 2 incident involving another police officer. He has requested an amendment to the lawsuit that will change the claims against the town. An article in Fridayís Post was incorrect.
