Kluttz Swean Wedding

RALEIGH — Jessica Marie Kluttz and Matthew Carlson Swean were united in marriage June 11, 2011, at Raleigh Little Theatre Rose Garden. The Rev. Tricia Sabol officiated the Noon ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Gravy in downtown Raleigh.
The bride was escorted by her father, Jesse T. “J.T.” Kluttz Jr., and attended by her twin sister, Lauren Elizabeth Kluttz of Morganton, as maid of honor.
Tom Swean stood as his son’s best man.
The bride is the daughter of J.T. and Debbie Kluttz of Salisbury and the granddaughter of the late Jesse T. and Bertha Kluttz and the late Roland and Helen Craven. A 1998 graduate of West Rowan High School, Jessica received a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 2002 and a Master’s in Social Work from UNC in 2005. She holds a license in Clinical Social Work and is a Clinical Care Manager at Value Options.
The groom is the son of Tom and Doina Swean of Alexandria, Va., and Charlotte and Richard Ross of Yellow Spring, W.Va. He is the grandson of the late Tom and Nellie Swean and the late Albert and Ann Carlson. A 2000 graduate of Bishop Ireton High School, Matthew received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2004. Self-employed with Matt Swean LLC, he does restoration, renovation and preservation of homes.
Following their honeymoon in Boone, the couple has made their home in Raleigh.
