Firefighters from Union Fire Department recently spent a day teaching students about fire safety at Hanford Dole Elementary School.
The students were shown the fire truck and equipment. The firemen also put on their gear to show students what they have to wear to protect themselves and others when they are called out to a fire.
The firefighters who participated in the fire safety presentation included Lauren Hall, Mark Wallace, Gary Bell, Justin Wetter, Austin Waller and Garrison Jones.
