Toastmasters to hold open house Saturday

KANNAPOLIS ó Goldmine Toastmasters plan an open house at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Fairfield Inn, 3033 Cloverleaf Parkway.
The club provides a chance to improve communication skills, become a more polished and confident speaker and learn how to be a better speaker.
In existence for more than 50 years, Goldmine Toastmasters is a group that conducts a weekly communication learning and laughter lab from 8:30-10 a.m. every Saturday morning at the Fairfield Inn on Cloverleaf Parkway in Kannapolis.
The mission of the Goldmine Toastmasters is to instill pride in individual achievement, team membership growth and community involvement through ongoing recognition and rewards.
The vision is to empower members to achieve their full potential by providing a supportive educational environment to learn the arts of speaking, listening and thinking ó the fundamental skills that enhance the public speaking, communications, leadership and mentoring abilities of the members for the betterment of individuals and communities.
