Mault Miller Wedding

Hilary Elaine Mault and Jeffrey Collins Miller of Salisbury were united in marriage Aug. 13, 2011, at Milford Hills United Methodist Church. The Rev. Steve Combs officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony which was followed by a reception at the Salisbury Depot.
The bride was escorted by her father, Steve Mault. She wore a strapless, ivory, ball gown with a bodice of crystal encrusted silk taffeta flowers and a tulle skirt accented with a taffeta sash. Hilary carried a bouquet of white roses and ranunculus. Attached to her bouquet was a bracelet worn by three generations of brides from her mother-in-law, Carol Miller, and the engagement ring of the bride’s maternal grandmother, Marian Smith.
Attending as the brides’s maid of honor was Sallie Hundley of Salisbury. Bridesmaids were cousin of the bride, Leah Bridgeman, of Harrisburg, Lindsey Isley of Salisbury, Kurry Smith of Mickleton, N.J., Chelsea Helms of Monroe and Brittany Tomlin of Mooresville.
Best man was John Miller, father of the groom. Groomsmen were cousin of the groom, Tommy Wilson, of Salisbury, Britt Butler and Brian Bradley, both of Charlotte, Jason Pridmore of Atlanta, Ga., and Daniel Mault, brother of the bride, of Salisbury.  
The wedding ceremony was directed by Linda Calhoun of Mooresville. Soloist was Gena Johnson, friend of the bride, of Statesville. Organist was Dr. Glenda Poole of Concord.
Guest registrars were Ashlyn Mounts of China Grove, Lucy Wilson of Salisbury and Kellan Kirchin of Lancaster, S.C. Guests were greeted at the church by Dan and Elaine Brock and Don and Gigi Bringle, and reception greeters were Mike and Jeni Russell of Burlington and Rick and Bonnie King of Asheville.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was held at the Country Club of Salisbury with dancing and music.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Corinne Mault of Salisbury and the granddaughter of Jim and Pat Mault of China Grove and the late Matt and Marian Smith of Salisbury. A 2003 graduate of West Rowan High School, Hilary graduated cum laude from Appalachian State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She is a first grade teacher at Rocky River Elementary School in Mooresville.
The groom is the son of John and Carol Miller of Salisbury and the grandson of Dot Miller and the late John Miller and the late Ragland and Aleine Kirchin, all of Salisbury. A 2001 graduate of West Rowan High School, Jeffrey graduated in 2005 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is employed by Universal Forest Products.
The bride and groom were honored on several occasions with showers and parties given by friends and family of the couple, including a house supplies pounding given by Don, Gigi and John Bringle, Jim and Paulette Peeler and Justan and Ashlyn Mounts. A house warming was given by Sallie Hundley. The bridesmaids luncheon, given by Elaine Brock, the bride’s aunt, and Leah Bridgeman, cousin of the bride, was held at Cabarrus Country Club.
Following a honeymoon to Antigua, the couple are making their home in Salisbury.
