Salisbury City Council candidates have been invited to appear at three forums this week.
Nine candidates — five incumbents and four challengers — are vying for five seats on the Council. The election is Nov. 8.
Forums include:
• 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, sponsored by the Historic Neighborhoods Alliance at Salisbury Station, 215 Depot St.
• 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, sponsored by the NAACP at the Rowan Public Library, 201 West Fisher St.
• 2 p.m. Thursday, sponsored by the Rowan County Council on Aging at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, 1120 South Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.
