The Rowan County Concert Association opens its 30th season with “An All Gershwin Revue” at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 15.
Spectrum Brass, a group from Michigan, is comprised of two trumpets, trombone, French horn, tuba, drum, a Van Cliburn Award pianist and a female vocalist. Favorite Gershwin melodies include “Rhapsody in Blue,” “I Got Rhythm” and “The Man I Love.” Really, who could ask for anything more?
Tickets are $20 for adults and students $5. The concert will be in the Keppel Auditorium on the Catawba campus.
