The Salvation Army is accpeting applications for the Christmas assistance.
The applications can be turned into the office, 620 Bringle Ferry Road, Salisbury, or by calling 704-636-6491.
Applications will be accepted Oct. 10 through Oct. 14 from 8:30 a.m-11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
On Oct. 10 and Oct. 14 applications will also be accepted from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
The following items must be taken to submit an application:
A current North Carolina picture ID/driverís license
Social Security Card/W-7 for every member in the household
If identification is expired, applicant must provide a lease and utility bill
Birth certificate for all children 12 and younger
Proof of all income and expenses
Unemployment and food stamp verification letter
Custody papers, if a guardian
